The current Vinya Taujana winery, located in Santa Eugènia, was created by the Crespí family in 2001, but the family tradition goes back three generations, dedicated to the art of artisanal winemaking. The beginnings date back to Celler de Can Palou, on the mother’s side, and to Celler de Ca Don Andreu, on the father’s side.
Vinya Taujana has always opted for quality, being part of the DO Binissalem.
In the winery, differentiated wines are made by using traditional production methods, in facilities that combine innovation and tradition – hand harvesting grapes, controlled fermentation and a careful selection and renovation of French and American oak barrels for the aging of our wines.
In Vinya Taujana we are also wine growers, taking advantage of the privileged location of our vineyards and the soil characteristics with abundant stones. We cultivate different vine varieties, the native Manto Negro, Callet and Moll, and the foreign Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot, to make our unique wines, but always protecting the environment by applying advanced and respectful viticultural practices – leaf area increase, less aggressive phytosanitary treatments, organic fertilizer …
The winery offers pre-arranged visits with tasting of our wines, direct sales and personalization of wine labels with “gloses” (Mallorcan verses).
