On June 1st, we concluded the 12th edition of Wine Days DO Binissalem with a successful turnout for the more than 20 proposed activities.
The edition began on May 23rd in the Cloister of Sant Francesc in Palma.
Ten wineries, one cloister, and more than a thousand glasses: this was the Wine Days 2025 Party.
The majestic Cloister of Sant Francesc in Palma once again became the setting for one of the most anticipated events of the Mallorcan spring: the Wine Days DO Binissalem Party. A unique event that combines wine, gastronomy, heritage, and culture in a magical and vibrant atmosphere in the heart of the old town.

The event brought together 10 wineries from the Binissalem Designation of Origin, which offered their most representative wines as well as new vintages.
The gastronomic proposal was led by four chefs from Ascaib: José Cortés, Cati Pons, Juan Pinel, and Marga Brunet, who created eight tapas using quality-certified products from the Balearic Islands: Sobrassada de Mallorca IGP, Ametlla de Mallorca IGP, DO Oli de Mallorca, DO Oliva de Mallorca, and Mahón-Menorca PDO Cheese — with vegan options also available.

The evening took place from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm and featured a live performance by the band Lost in Translation, with the captivating voice of Aina Zuazaga providing the perfect soundtrack to a night full of sensations and magic.

The event reached full capacity with nearly 1,300 attendees, including residents and visitors of various nationalities, as well as regional and local authorities such as Pilar Amate (Minister of Economic Promotion, Consell de Mallorca); Joan Llabrés (Director General of Agri-Food Quality and Local Product, Balearic Government); Álvaro Roca (Island Director of Economic Promotion); Pep Lluís Urraca (Mayor of Santa Eugènia); Víctor Martí (Mayor of Binissalem); and heads of DOP/IGP-certified products from the Balearic Islands. Also in attendance were event collaborators, friends of DO Binissalem, and media representatives.
Particularly noteworthy was the presence of representatives from the Mallorca Food Bank Foundation, which received a solidarity donation of 1 euro per glass sold during the event. The donation was handed over to the foundation’s president, Raimundo de Montis, by Esperanza Nadal, Vice President of DO Binissalem, and corresponded to funds raised during the Wine Days 2024 edition.

The Wine Days Party has become a staple on Mallorca’s spring calendar, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy DO wines in a matchless setting, sharing flavors, culture, and social commitment.
As is tradition, the celebration continued for 9 days, offering unique experiences such as:
Guided tours with wine tastings and pairings in wineries and vineyards

Wine tasting courses and educational seminars

Workshops with wine tastings

Cultural activities and heritage visits with wine tastings

Cycling routes, Nordic walking, and scenic tours

All of this was accompanied by high-quality, authentic, and unique wines and signature cuisine made with local quality-certified products.

Around 2,000 people participated once again in the various activities of this event, which promotes wine culture within the DO Binissalem, creating synergies and collaborations among different regional stakeholders.
A flagship event in wine tourism, it had a significant media impact with over 1,000,000 impressions on social networks and digital platforms, radio coverage, and features in both general and specialized media.
This project is co-financed by the European Union, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Natural Environment of the Balearic Islands.
